The Session rehearsal rooms and recording studio is located on Waterworks Road, Barbourne, Worcester, between the North end of the Pitchcroft (Worcester racecourse) and Gheluvelt Park.

You can see our location map on the right (click on map for an enlarged PDF version). Our carpark is on the left just past the public car park and opposite the entrance to the 'Pump House Environment Centre'.

Directions

From the Motorway (M5 north and south):

Take the A449 from Jn 6 of the M5 and follow this until you reach a roundabout. Take the 2nd Exit signposted "A449 Worcester". Follow this road into town until you reach a cross-roads at a set of traffic lights (with a bridal shop called Gate House Brides opposite). Bear Right onto the A38 (Gheluvelt Park is on your Right). Take the first road on the right after the park – Barbourne Lane (follow the brown signs 'Pump House Env. Centre'). At the T junction, turn left onto Barbourne Road and then immediately right (past the Corner Shop) onto Pitchcroft Lane. Follow this road round to the right onto Pope Iron Road. Turn Left at the T junction onto Waterworks Road and our carpark is through the purple gates on your left just past the public car park and opposite the Environment Centre (the big red brick building on your right).

From Worcester City Centre:

Follow the A38 (Tything) out of town towards Droitwich, Bromsgrove and Kidderminster. Turn left just before Gheluvelt Park (the Wash House is bright yellow and on the corner), following the brown sign 'Pump House Env. Centre'. At the T junction, turn left onto Barbourne Road and then immediately right (past the Corner Shop) onto Pitchcroft Lane. Follow this road round to the right onto Pope Iron Road. Turn Left at the T junction onto Waterworks Road and our carpark is through the purple gates on your left just past the public car park and opposite the Environment Centre (the big red brick building on your right).

Alternative routes:

You can walk or cycle to The Session across Worcester Racecourse (Pitchcroft) along the River Severn. We are at the end furthest from town past the allotments. When you reach the gate at the end of Waterworks Road, follow the road round to the right and the entrance is through the purple gates on the right opposite the Environmental Centre.
